The Chicago Bulls have seen a lot of success over the last few years, but after Zach LaVine suffered an injury on his left knee in February that he tore ACL. The team has been able to silently come back from their injuries and find new players for different roles as well as trade for two-time All Star Jimmy Butler. Out with the old and in with the new could be applicable here too.

Zach LaVine, Bulls caught immense break after guard’s MRI results on knee he previously tore ACL in came back. The Chicago Bulls have been given a huge break by the NBA after Zach Lavine’s MRI results revealed that his previous torn ACL was not the cause of his current knee issue. Zach LaVine, Bulls Caught Immense Break After Guard's MRI Results on Knee He Previously Tore ACL in Came Back

Zach LaVine, a shooting guard for the Chicago Bulls, tore his left ACL while playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2017. Bulls supporters were concerned about his ACL after the two-time Slam Dunk champion damaged his left knee against the Golden State Warriors on January 14.

Fortunately for LaVine and the Bulls, the guard’s MRI findings came back with a huge break.

Zach LaVine’s knee has no structural injury.

Zach LaVine had an MRI on his left knee this morning, which indicated no substantial structural damage.

LaVine has started targeted treatment and will be evaluated again early next week to establish a more precise timeline.

He is not anticipated to be out for an extended period of time.

The MRI on LaVine’s knee found no substantial structural damage. He’s started targeted treatment and will be evaluated again in a week. The Washington native isn’t anticipated to be out for long.

According to ESPN, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan remarked, “Obviously extremely hopeful and very fortunate that it wasn’t anything bigger.” “That’s why they wanted to conduct the MRI,” says the doctor, “so he’ll keep getting treatment and we’ll re-evaluate him after a while.” I don’t believe it’s a long-term solution, which is a good thing. So the most important thing is how he responds to therapy, treatment, and other such things. I believe that after they see how he reacts to the treatment, they will have a better idea of when he will be able to return.”

LaVine played with mild swelling in his left knee, according to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago. After collecting an offensive rebound in the first quarter of the Bulls-Golden State Warriors game, he pulled himself out due to pain.

The Bulls should be grateful that LaVine did not suffer a serious injury. He’s on pace to play in his second straight All-Star game, and his solid play is a big reason for Chicago’s Eastern Conference-leading record.

Zach LaVine is having a fantastic season.

This season, LaVine is averaging 24.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists while shooting 49.1% from the field, 41.2 percent from beyond the arc, and 87.2 percent from the line. The Bulls are on their approach to their first playoff appearance since 2017, and LaVine and DeMar DeRozan might become the first Chicago teammates to start an All-Star Game since Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in 1997.

LaVine is having a good year. In the summer, he will be an unrestricted free agent and might command a hefty salary. In 2018, the UCLA product signed a four-year, $78 million contract with the Bulls, and he has far exceeded his expectations. All indications point to LaVine and the Bulls agreeing to a new contract in the summer, so the 26-year-old shouldn’t feel obligated to return until his knee is fully recovered.

While LaVine is sidelined, the Bulls may have to look for another dynamic scorer. A rim protector is also required.

With Flight 8 out, the Bulls don’t have enough scoring.

DeRozan, LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, Lonzo Ball, and Coby White are the Bulls’ five players averaging double digits. With LaVine out, the team’s scoring will suffer, thus Vucevic, Ball, and White will have to step up. Ball, on the other hand, is dealing with left knee pain and will miss a few games.

The Bulls will struggle without LaVine and Ball. During this time, the front office should look to get another 20-point scorer and rim protector. The scorer might be Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant, while the rim protector could be Indiana Pacers big Myles Turner.

While Bulls fans will miss LaVine while he’s out, at least they won’t have to see him play his last game of the season.

Critics of Zach LaVine believe he is more concerned with statistics than with winning. Coach Billy Donovan of the Chicago Bulls thrashed us: ‘No one knows what kind of person he is.’
