The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in for a rough one Thursday night. With Tom Brady already out, the Eagles have been given more bad news before their matchup with the Bucs.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in a pivotal Thursday Night Football matchup. Despite sustaining a thumb injury during the win, the ageless marvel is coming off an incredible five-touchdown effort against the Miami Dolphins.
Despite being set to play, the reigning Super Bowl winners have been restricted all week, and Brady’s injury should be monitored. Unfortunately, Brady isn’t the only player with an ailment for the Buccaneers.
For Thursday’s game, the Buccaneers will be missing Lavonte David, Antoine Winfield Jr., and tight end Rob Gronkowski.

The most worrisome ailment is Brady’s, but he will play and should be as effective as ever, particularly against a questionable Eagles defense. However, Gronkowski’s absence is regrettable, since it will be the tight end’s third game out of the last four.
With eight receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, the former New England Patriots standout caught fire. He then went on to have five receptions for 39 yards and two scores against the Atlanta Falcons.
Despite missing games, Gronkowski is tied for the team lead in touchdowns with Mike Evans with four. In Gronk’s absence, the Buccaneers will rely on Cameron Brate and OJ Howard at tight end, but neither is quite as dangerous as the veteran, particularly in the red zone.
With the amount of injuries, all eyes are on Brady even more.
How can Tom Brady keep doing this?

Brady seldom misses a game, so it’s no surprise that he’ll be ready to go on Thursday night. Regardless, all eyes will be on #12 on Thursday night to see whether he can deliver when it counts.
Brady has been on a tear once again at the age of 44, and he may finish up playing until he is 50. As Tampa Bay has raced to a 4-1 start, the disputed GOAT has thrown for 1767 yards, 15 touchdowns, and just two interceptions.
Furthermore, they have achieved all of their success with a mediocre– at best– running assault. Ronald Jones has yet to break the 100-yard mark this season, with 98 yards on 26 attempts. Leonard Fournette has 251 yards on 56 rushes. Aside from that, Giovani Bernard has handled a few but is more of a passing game option.
Gronkowski’s return will be a huge step forward, mainly because Brady often looks his way when the game is on the line. Regrettably, it will have to wait for at least another week.
The good news is that the Buccaneers should have no problems with the Eagles.

Injuries are never a pleasant thing, and they’re made much more difficult when teams are working on a tight schedule. The bright side is that the Buccaneers should have no trouble handling the Eagles on Thursday night.
With a 32-6 thumping of the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1, Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles made a strong first impression. They’ve gone 1-3 since then, with their lone win coming last week against the Carolina Panthers. That win was not beautiful, and it took three Sam Darnold interceptions for the Eagles to pull off a 21-18 victory.
The Bucs defense isn’t what it used to be, and it won’t be without David and Winfield, so Hurts and DeVonta Smith need to get back on the same page. Regardless, Tampa Bay has Brady, and anytime he’s on the field, you’ve got a chance.
