The main character of this game is 16 year old knight Abyour. You have to save her home kingdom and the world from a demon invasion by restarting time, so you can travel back in time in order to destroy the source of evil. This has been called “a love letter” to classic JRPGs like Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy III

If you’re having trouble saving in Eiyuden Chronicle Rising, it’s likely that you went through some of the introductory speech, which is acceptable considering how much there is.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Saving Rising is unlike other current games in that there is no large banner alerting you to “save” after you’ve reached the correct point, and there’s no other way to find out how to do it once the tutorial is through. Because Rising’s autosave isn’t always reliable, you’ll want to save often manually.

In Eiyuden Chronicle Rising, how do you save?

The only option to manually save in Rising is to use signposts. Because they double as quick travel places, you’ll find them near every key site, including New Neveah, dungeon entrances, and before big boss encounters.

To save your game, interact with the signpost and choose “Save.” That’s all there is to it.

Also, remember to save often. The autosave feature in Rising is only activated after important events, such as finding a new location or obtaining a new stamp. It’s not very trustworthy, so don’t put too much faith in it.

It’s also worth mentioning that saving the game at signposts does just that. Unlike certain save spots in other RPGs, it will not replenish your characters’ health.

You’ll want to make sure you’re utilizing the signposts to fast travel as you go through the game. Rising has a lot of back-and-forth, and remembering to fast travel makes for a far more pleasurable experience.

That’s all there is to saving in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, but be sure to check out our other Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising tutorials for additional information.
